RESPIRO technology promises a new dimension in swathing technology, maximising forage quality and minimising harvesting costs. Thanks to the patented pick-up system, the forage is picked up more cleanly – without any sweeping – which significantly improves forage intake and animal health. Thanks to the ideal swath size, a perfect short cut (20-30 mm particle length) is possible regardless of the yield of the area. This creates optimum conditions for ensiling. The result is increased feed intake and higher milk yield. At the same time, knife wear and diesel consumption are reduced, which has a positive effect on the operating result. RESPIRO - Forage productivity for healthy & high-yielding animals
Thanks to the precise RESPIRO technology, each cow eats around 60 kg less soil per year – which is good for digestion and promotes health. At the same time, soya use is reduced by up to 15 kg per animal, which means savings of around €6 per cow per year.
1. Higher feed value
Dirt displaces valuable energy and protein in the feed. If the amount of dirt is reduced, the cow automatically consumes more energy and protein when eating, which increases the amount of milk.
